Amedisys is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide skilled interventions under the supervision of an OT, in patients' homes in Allegheny County and the Pittsburgh area. This part-time position emphasizes professional documentation and coordinated care planning with the OT and care team.

Candidate should hold ACOTE-accredited OTA training, be NBCOT-eligible or certified, and have CPR certification; at least 1 year of OTA experience preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Current license to practice as an occupational therapy assistant, state-specific.
• Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited OTA program.
• Eligible to take, or has completed, the NBCOT certification examination.
• One year related occupational therapy assistant experience; regional leaders' approval if less than one year.

• Provides skilled interventions under the supervision of an occupational therapist.
• Documents visits per AOTA guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Observes and reports patient responses to treatment to the supervising OT and staff.
• Provides patient/caregiver resources for future ADL/IADL needs.
• Promotes wellness by promoting occupational engagement.
• Keeps abreast of OT trends and knowledge for service provision.
