Qualifications

• CAPTE-approved Occupational Therapy program completion
• Active OT license in state of practice
• CPR certification (may be offered upon hire)
• Minimum 2 years’ adult OT/home health experience preferred
• Strong observation, communication, problem-solving and basic math skills

Responsibilities

• Perform OT evaluation and treatment per physician orders with adaptive equipment as needed
• Set measurable goals and develop treatment plans to maximize independence
• Maintain clear communication with treatment team, patient and family
• Maintain timely documentation for proper billing
• Supervise OT Assistants in direct patient care per state practice acts
