Job summary

PARS Therapy is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our home health care team in Alverado, TX. You will work with patients in their homes to help regain independence and improve quality of life on recovery journeys.

You will evaluate conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, implement therapies to enhance daily living and motor skills, educate patients and families, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Active Texas OT license required.
• Current professional liability insurance for practice in Texas.
• Graduate degree or higher in Occupational Therapy.
• Previous experience in home health or rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based treatment practices and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patient conditions and creating individualized treatment plans.
• Implementing therapeutic strategies to improve daily living and motor skills.
• Educating patients and families on techniques to support recovery and independence.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care.
• Monitoring progress and adjusting interventions as needed.
