Job summary

Alpha Home Health & Hospice in King County, WA is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our Home Health team. You will work one-on-one with patients in their homes, helping them regain independence and improve safety in daily activities.

We offer $55–$65/hour based on experience, full-time schedules, mileage reimbursement, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Current Washington State Occupational Therapist license, or eligible for licensure before your first day.
• 1–2 years of Occupational Therapy experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
• Home Health or community-based experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• As a Home Health OT, you'll work one-on-one with patients in their own environment.
• Assess patients' functional abilities, limitations, and home environment.
• Develop individualized treatment plans focused on independence and meaningful daily activities.
• Provide skilled OT interventions to improve mobility, strength, coordination, safety, and activities of daily living.
• Evaluate home safety and recommend adaptive equipment or modifications when appropriate.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on techniques that support independence and safety.
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, providers, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as needs change.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
