Job summary

Alpha Home Health & Hospice in King County, WA seeks a compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to work with patients in their homes, helping them regain independence and perform daily activities safely.

You will assess function, develop individualized plans, collaborate with a care team, document care, and educate families. A WA OT license + CPR required; 1–2 years' home health experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Washington State Occupational Therapist license, or eligible for licensure before your first day.
• 1–2 years of Occupational Therapy experience
• Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

• As a Home Health OT, you'll work one-on-one with patients in their own environment, helping them build skills and confidence for independence.
• Assess patients' functional abilities, limitations, and home environment.
• Develop individualized treatment plans focused on independence and meaningful daily activities.
• Provide skilled OT interventions to improve mobility, strength, coordination, safety, and ADLs.
• Evaluate home safety and recommend adaptive equipment or modifications when appropriate.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on techniques that support independence and safety.
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, providers, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as needs change.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation

Alpha Home Health & Hospice is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our King County Home Health team. You'll help patients regain independence, improve safety, and accomplish the everyday activities that matter most to them, all in the comfort of home.

Compensation $55–$65/hour, based on experience

Mileage reimbursement and travel stipend

What You'll Do

What You’ll Bring

• Current Washington State Occupational Therapist license, or eligible for licensure before your first day
• 1–2 years of Occupational Therapy experience
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team
• Home Health or community-based experience preferred
