Careage Home Health seeks a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team serving Pierce County, WA. This full-time role offers a flexible schedule with no on-call or weekends, and involves assessing and treating patients in their homes to promote independence and improve quality of life.

You will collaborate with physicians, family members, and other healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans, with comprehensive benefits and ongoing professional growth opportunities.

Formación

• Licensed to practice Occupational Therapy in the practicing state(s).
• Prefer two years of OT experience in home health or similar setting.
• Graduate from an accredited OT curriculum; eligibility for national exam.

Responsabilidades

• Improves or minimizes residual physical disabilities.
• Returns the individual to optimum living within the patient’s capabilities.
• Participates with other home care personnel in care planning.
• Provides prescribed occupational therapy.
• Directs and supervises personnel as required.
• Takes initial history and makes initial evaluation.
• Performs all skilled procedures.
• Consults with physicians regarding treatment changes.
• Writes reports to physicians regarding patient progress.
• Instructs patients/family in home programs and fine motor exercises.
• Completes initial evaluation, plan of care and goals for physician approval.
• Presents in-service to Agency staff.
• Assists physician in evaluating level of function.
• Helps develop and revise plan of care.
• Prepares clinical and progress notes.
• Advises and consults with family and agency personnel.
• Participates in QAPI activities as assigned.

Conocimientos

Two years' experience

Currently licensed

Educación

Graduate of an Occupational Therapy curriculum accredited by the AMA and AOTA

Eligible for National Registration Examination (AOTA)
