CVHCare is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our California home health team. You will help patients improve daily living activities at home using adaptive equipment and education to promote independence.

Entry level accepted with CA OT license, CPR/BLS, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel across Area #2 Oakland/Berkeley and Area #8 Richmond, Rodeo, El Cerrito, etc. Salary starts at $109,000 per year with full benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Occupational Therapy experience desired.
• Open to entry level or candidates with no prior home health experience.
• Valid California Occupational Therapist license.
• Reliable transportation.
• CPR/BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• OT focuses on daily activities and movements using home items or adaptive equipment.
• Train patient or caregiver in self-care tasks such as grooming, dressing, toileting and bathing.
• Assist with cooking, housekeeping, laundry and shopping as part of rehab goals.
• Support community re-integration and leisure activities for holistic health.
