CVHCare, a leader in Home Health Clinical services, seeks Occupational Therapists in California to join a compassionate team. OT will focus on daily activities, community reintegration and leisure-type activities to promote health and wellness. Training in San Ramon included.

Positions available for 32 hr, 24 hr, or per diem schedules across multiple Area #1 and Area #2 locations. Benefits include paid training, mileage reimbursement, and company-paid health/dental/vision insurance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Occupational Therapy experience (desired).
• Open to entry level or candidates with no prior home health experience.
• Valid California Occupational Therapist license.
• Reliable transportation.
• CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to home health patients in Area #1 (Fremont, Castro Valley, Ashland, Cherryland, Hayward, Newark, San Leandro, San Lorenzo, Union City) and Area #2 (Oakland, Berkeley, Alameda, Albany, Emeryville, Piedmont).
• Coordinate care with patients, families and team members.
• Complete assessments, establish treatment plans, document progress, and ensure compliance with state and agency guidelines.
• Participate in training and ongoing professional development as required.

Position Summary

Occupational therapy focuses on daily activities and movements. Using common household items or adaptive equipment, the OT will train the patient or caregiver in activities such as self-grooming, dressing, toileting and bathing. There are also advanced activities such as cooking, housekeeping, laundry and shopping that the OT supports. The OT team focuses on community reintegration and introducing patients to leisure-type activities that promote health and wellness.

*Compensation starting rate indicated on this posting is based on employees working a full-time schedule.

Title: Occupational Therapist

Schedule: 32 hr (24 RVEs per week – benefited), Part Time – 24 hr (18 RVEs per week) or Per Diem (6 visits per week)

Location: Area #1 covering the cities of Fremont, Castro Valley, Ashland, Cherryland, Hayward, Newark, San Leandro, San Lorenzo, Union City; Area #2 covering Oakland, Berkeley, Alameda, Albany, Emeryville, Piedmont. Paid Training: Must be available for one week (M-F 9am-5:30pm) training in San Ramon.
