Job summary

VitalCaring Group is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for home health in Florida. You will assess patients in their homes, develop personalized treatment plans, and collaborate with families and the care team to restore independence and daily functioning.

The role emphasizes safety, documentation in EMR, and coordination with physicians while supervising assistants as required. Field-based position with strong patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current NBCOT certification.
• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience preferred (home health a plus).
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ functional status and home safety.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to restore function.
• Fabricate splints and train use of adaptive devices.
• Support patients returning to work with functional/work capacity evals.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and safety.
