Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in clinical skills with the ability to work independently and make sound judgments.
• Good human relations, organization, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
• Basic proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) or similar products.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient abilities and establish an OT plan of care for ADLs, cognition and vocational needs.
• Plan and implement individualized treatment to retrain and teach compensatory techniques for daily living activities.
• Discuss caseload changes with management and communicate plans and goals to physicians and leadership.
• Update physicians with status reports and coordinate treatment plans with the care team.
• Manage caseload scheduling and assist with supervision of OT staff as required by Wisconsin regulations.
• Teach patients and caregivers about procedures and adaptive devices; train in equipment use.
