Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking an Occupational Therapist to assist patients in home-based settings, developing daily living skills and motor function through targeted therapies. The role focuses on helping patients regain independence in daily activities, with treatments tailored to home environments and patient needs.

The ideal candidate is a licensed OT with preferred Medicare home health experience and a track record in home care settings.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy and licensed as an Occupational Therapist/OT in the state in which he/she currently practices.
• A minimum of one-year experience is preferred, but can be less with Regional VP/Regional Director approval based on prior experience setting.
• Medicare home health experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help patients who have debilitating conditions improve the functions of performing everyday tasks in the home. Use treatments to develop daily living skills and basic motor functions, and compensate for any loss of function as needed.
