Job summary

Atrinity Home Health, a part of the Optum family, is seeking an Occupational Therapist to assess and address patients’ functional status, daily living activities, and home safety in a home-health setting.

You will perform evaluations, develop plans of care, coordinate with physicians, and educate patients and families. A valid OT license, CPR, and reliable transportation are required; experience in home health is a plus. Competitive hourly pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy licensure in state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client.

Responsibilities

• Provides service within the scope of practice as defined by state laws and plan of care.
• Evaluates functional status and CMS documentation needs; consults with physician.
• Observes, records, and reports patient responses to treatment.
• Conducts patient assessments evaluating function using standardized tests.
