Job summary

HomeCall, a part of LHC Group within the Optum family, is hiring an Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide therapy services to patients in home care settings. You will work under supervision to restore patients' physical abilities and support families in the care plan.

Responsibilities include following state laws and the plan of care, documenting patient progress, and educating patients and caregivers. Strong communication and independence are valued in this role.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• Must be certified and in good standing with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws governing occupational therapy in home care and treatment plans.
• Instruct and aid patients in evidence-based treatment.
• Observe and report patient progress to nurse supervisor and physician.
