Job summary

Interim HealthCare of Miami is seeking a Home Health Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) to provide therapy in East Miami, from Aventura to Coral Gables. You can set your own schedule and enjoy work-life balance in a flexible home health role.

We offer 1:1 ratios, autonomy, online training with CEUs, dental/vision plans, and a 401k. Required Florida OTA license, CPR, and 2+ years of OT experience preferred. Join a nationwide network focused on patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy education program and active OTA license in Florida.
• Minimum of 2 years of occupational therapy experience, ideally in home healthcare.
• CPR certification.
• Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations.
• Good clinical judgement, strong interpersonal skills, resourceful and compassionate

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy to patients unable to perform daily tasks due to an illness or injury.
• Work as part of a home health team focused on the patient’s plan of care and personal goals.
• Teach task-oriented therapeutic activities.
• Assist patient with exercises to improve fine motor skills and coordination.
• Educate patient and family on plan of care, exercises, goals and self-care
