Job summary

Nursing South Corp. in Miami-Dade is hiring an Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our home healthcare team. You will assess and provide care per physician treatment plans and coordinate with the patient care team to support daily progress.

Must hold a Florida OTA license, valid driver’s license, and pass a Level 2 AHCA background check; CPR/BLS certification is required. Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus, with flexible evening and weekend shifts available.

As an Occupational Therapist Assistant, you play a crucial role as a valued member of our patient treatment team. Your responsibilities include assessing and providing care in accordance with established physician treatment plans, all while actively participating in the coordination of patient care.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Put your Occupational therapy Assistant skills to work where they're really needed - follow a treatment plan and help them get better day by day.
• Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; assist with patient scheduling and documentation.
• Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standards, and applicable state/federal laws.
