Job summary

Assured Home Health, part of LHC Group within the Optum family, seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide therapy to homebound patients and help restore their highest functional ability.

Responsibilities include following state laws, implementing the plan of care under supervision, documenting patient responses, and educating patients, families, and caregivers. Oregon OTA licensure and reliable transportation are required; CPR is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in Oregon.
• Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance or access to dependable transportation.
• CPR certification preferred or able to complete within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy to home care patients to restore maximum physical ability.
• Follow state-specific laws and the plan of care under supervision.
• Observe, document, and report patient progress to nurse supervisor and physician.
• Educate patient, family, caregiver, and health team on therapy within scope.
• Function effectively in diverse home environments and client backgrounds.
