Job summary

Pathways Healthcare is a physician- and nurse practitioner-led home health and hospice organization in Westwood, MA, seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist for full-time work serving Cambridge, Revere and surrounding towns. You will conduct patient assessments, develop individualized plans, and supervise therapy staff.

Qualifications

• OT degree from an accredited program and NBCOT registration.
• Minimum two years of clinical OT experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
• Current BLS CPR certification and valid driver’s license with reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including functional status and home environment.
• Evaluate work capacity and provide vocational training referrals if needed.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Train patients in daily activities, prosthetics, orthotics, and adaptive equipment use.
• Maintain accurate records and report condition changes promptly.
• Educate families and caregivers on treatment plans.
• Supervise occupational therapy assistants and home health aides.
• Participate in training, meetings, and case reviews.
• Refer patients to additional services and coordinate discharge planning.

• Salary Range: $80,000 - $105,000

Qualifications:

• Hold a degree from an occupational therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association. Additionally, be registered with the National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist is preferred.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills along with strong organizational abilities to effectively interact with patients and the healthcare team.
• Maintain a current BLS CPR certification.
• Possess a valid driver's license and own a reliable, insured vehicle.
