UnitedHealth Group in New Castle County is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients in their homes, promoting independence, safety and improved quality of life through personalized therapy and collaboration with families and the care team.

You will deliver services under physician orders, develop individualized treatment plans, ensure compliance and timely documentation, and supervise home health aides when needed.

Qualifications

• Current state license to practice occupational therapy.
• Graduate of ACOTE-accredited OT program.
• Eligible to take NBCOT exam for OT.
• At least 1 year of OT experience.
• If <1 year, regional approval and mentoring required.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate and treat patients in their homes to promote independence, safety and quality of life.
• Develop individualized treatment plans per physician orders and agency policies.
• Document assessments and treatments timely and accurately.
• Ensure safety and effectiveness of OT service delivery.
• Coordinate with families and interdisciplinary team members.
