Job summary

Adoration Health in O'Fallon, IL seeks a compassionate Home Health Occupational Therapist to provide 1:1 patient care in a Southern territory-based schedule. You will evaluate, plan, and implement therapy, coordinating with families and physicians to achieve independence.

The role requires state licensure, CPR certification, and 2+ years of adult OT experience, preferably in home health. Benefits include medical/dental/vision and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Occupational Therapy Education program approved by CAPTE.
• Current Occupational Therapist licensure in State and American Heart Association CPR certification; CPR may be offered and completed upon hire.
• Two (2) years of experience in adult occupational therapy; home health experience preferred.
• Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills; problem solving; basic math; physical therapy skills per competency checklist.

Responsibilities

• Perform OT evaluation and treatment based on physician orders; procure adaptive equipment.
• Set measurable goals and develop treatment plans to maximize independence.
• Maintain communication among treatment team, physician, patient and family.
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation for proper billing.
• Supervise OT assistants in direct patient care per state practice act.
