Job summary

North Idaho Home Health, part of the Optum family, seeks an Occupational Therapist to assess and address functional status, ADLs, and home-based care needs for the Northern Idaho region (Athol, Bayview, Blanchard, Careywood, Rathdrum, Spirit Lake).

Responsibilities include performing functional evaluations, developing therapy plans with the physician, coordinating with the health care team, and documenting CMS-relevant findings to support patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy licensure in state of practice.
• Current driver''s license and vehicle insurance, access to dependable vehicle or public transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provides service within scope of practice as defined by state laws governing Occupational Therapy, coordinating with the care team.
• Evaluates patient''s functional status and CMS-required documentation; consults with physician for plan of care.
• Observes, records, and reports patient responses to treatment and changes in condition.
• Conducts patient assessments evaluating functional ability.
• Ability to function in home environments regardless of patient demographics.
