Job summary

Mercy Home Care RN is seeking a per diem registered nurse to provide day-to-day skilled nursing in the Saint Louis area, including Jefferson County, Saint Louis County, and Saint Charles County. Responsibilities include IV therapy, wound care, patient teaching, and post-hospitalization assessments.

The role supports Mercy’s home care services with visits on an as-needed basis, ensuring safety and appropriate care in patient homes.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Experience in home health or per diem nursing preferred.
• Ability to provide skilled nursing in patients'' homes.
• Ability to perform post-hospitalization assessments and care planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day skilled nursing in patients'' homes.
• Perform IV therapy, wound care, dressing changes.
• Conduct admissions, recertifications, and discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and safety.
