Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Home Health LPN to deliver skilled one-on-one nursing care to patients in their homes under RN supervision in Needham, MA.

The role requires an accredited Practical/Vocational Nursing program completion, active LPN/LVN license in the relevant state, and CPR certification if applicable. Prior home health experience is preferred, with compliance to all applicable standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.
• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state where practice.
• One year of professional nursing experience; home care preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled one-on-one nursing care to patients in their home.
• Accompany patients to appointments when indicated.

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the LPN/LVN(Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse) – Home Health provides skilled one-on-onenursing care to patients in their home and accompanies them when indicated toappointments, etc.

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursingprogram

• One year prior professional nursing experience, home careexperience preferred
