Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) for clinic settings in Kokomo, IN. Under RN or Physician supervision, you will support immunization and wellness services across multiple sites, delivering safe, quality patient care.

Contract - Full Time role with 37.5 hours per week and a pay rate of $30 per hour. Candidates must have an active LPN/LVN license in the practicing state, CPR if applicable, and meet all regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse License in state where practicing.
• One year experience as an LPN/LVN in a clinic setting preferred.
• CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire/PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current health certificate per contract or state regulation
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the LicensedPractical/Vocational Nurse works in a variety of remote or clinic settings to serve a specific population's health and/or wellness needs. These variety of sites include but are not limited to community or employment immunization clinics, wellness clinics, job safety and workers compensation sites and travel health clinics from pediatric to geriatric age populations.

The Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse demonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner under the supervision of an RN or Physician.The Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care. Consistently performs according to nursing standards and is accountable in providing safe, quality patient care.

Minimum Requirements

• Current Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse License in statewhere they are practicing
• One year experience as an LPN/LVN in a clinic settingpreferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
