Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) to provide skilled, one-on-one nursing care in patients' homes under physician orders. The role primarily serves Lawrence, MA, with duties documented per care plans and may involve travel for appointments.

The position requires current RN licensure in the state of practice, with preferred 1 year home health experience and compliance with professional standards. CPR and health clearance as applicable are needed.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state where the RN will practice.
• One year of home health nursing experience preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document skilled one-on-one nursing care according to physician-ordered care plan.
• Care is provided mostly in the patient’s home or residential setting and may accompany the patient outside the home for appointments.

The Home Health Registered Nurse is responsible forproviding and documenting skilled one-on-one nursing care in accordance withthe physician-ordered individualized patient care plan. This care is provided mostly in the patient'shome or a residential setting but can transfer outside the home duringappointments and other activities the nurse may accompany the patient to.

Minimum Requirements

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state inwhich the RN will practice

• One year of home health nursing experience preferred

• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice

• Current CPR if applicable
