Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associate's degree in healthcare or related field preferred.
• Experience in healthcare administration, especially in home health settings.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification processes.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency with electronic health records and office software - training in working with Kinnser EMR is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process new patient referrals and gather required clinical information.
• Verify insurance benefits and eligibility for home health services.
• Coordinate initial assessments and facilitate admission paperwork.
• Communicate with healthcare providers, patients, and families.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
• Schedule appropriate care staff based on patient needs.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and company policies.
• Track referral sources and assist with relationship management.
