Physicians Choice Home Health in Torrance, CA is seeking an experienced Home Health Administrator to lead operations, drive revenue growth, and ensure regulatory compliance. This non-clinical, on-site role reports to the CEO and partners with clinical leadership.

You will oversee budgeting, staffing plans, market expansion, and performance metrics while maintaining a people-first culture within the worker-owned cooperative framework.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in home health operations, administrative leadership, or business development.
• Working knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement, Home Health Conditions of Participation, and key agency metrics.
• Track record of growing patient census, building referral networks, and forecasting staffing needs.
• Experience leading and developing an operational team.
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Clear, collaborative communication across clinical, administrative, and business teams.
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare or business administration, or equivalent experience.
• EMR proficiency (WellSky or Kinnser a plus).
• Digital comfort with tools like Google Workspace, Slack, or Asana.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with hospitals and physician networks to drive referral volume.
• Translate census data into staffing plans and routing to minimize delays and gaps.
• Foster an inclusive, engaged culture that supports staff retention and growth.
• Lead agency budgeting and financial tracking; partner with billing to improve profitability.
• Report operational performance metrics to CEO and board; ensure regulatory compliance.
