All Care Home Health is seeking an Eligibility & Insurance Verification Specialist to join our growing team in Glendale, CA. This role ensures accurate verification of patient eligibility, insurance coverage, and authorizations prior to care commencement.

The ideal candidate has experience with home health plans and strong attention to detail. Responsibilities include verifying benefits, obtaining authorizations, communicating with payers and internal staff, and maintaining precise documentation

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience in home health eligibility, intake, or insurance verification.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medi-Cal, HMO/PPO, and managed care plans.
• Familiarity with home health authorization processes.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with home health EMR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits for home health services.
• Obtain and track authorizations from health plans (Kaiser, Medicare, Medi-Cal, HMO/PPO, Optum, etc.)
• Confirm coverage details including co-pays, visit limits, and authorization requirements.
• Communicate with insurance representatives, referral sources, and internal staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the patient record and tracking systems.
• Follow up on pending authorizations and eligibility issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with CMS, payer, and agency guidelines.
• Support intake, clinical, and billing teams as needed.
