Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a delivery driver to move medications, supplies, and equipment to patients and facilities. You will handle patient instructions for basic equipment and ensure accurate paperwork and logs are maintained.

Role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of related experience, and a valid driver’s license with DOT compliance training. Safety, ethics, and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma is required.
• At least one year related experience is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Minimum of three years driving history required.
• Successful completion of Apria Healthcare's Driver Training Program.
• Must meet job-related requirements to comply with D.O.T., FDA and accrediting body standards.

Responsibilities

• Pulls, packs, delivers and picks up medications, supplies and basic equipment.
• Instructs patients on basic use of respiratory therapy equipment and related devices.
• Loads and unloads durable medical and infusion equipment onto delivery vehicle.
• Responds to emergency delivery calls during regular business hours and on-call.
• Completes daily delivery logs, pick-up and delivery forms and vehicle maintenance logs.
• Distributes paperwork to appropriate personnel.
• Maintains supply component of patient profiles.
• Notifies supervisor if home safety concerns are observed.
• May clean and assist with equipment repair.
• Performs routine vehicle maintenance and reports malfunctions.
• Performs other duties as required.
