Job summary

Adventist HealthCare is seeking a certified Nursing Assistant for our Home Care Division in Maryland. You will assist care managers, deliver high-quality personal care, and help maintain a safe environment while coordinating with the medical team to ensure continuity of care.

The ideal candidate holds a Maryland CNA, BLS and CPR certifications, with 2–3 years of CNA experience, preferably in nursing homes or acute care settings.

Qualifications

• Current Maryland Board of Nursing Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Active American Heart Association CPR certification required.
• 2-3 years of CNA experience strongly preferred.
• Nursing home or acute care setting strongly preferred.
• Score of 80% or more on the CNA Skills Assessment Test and ability to pass skills lab testing.

Responsibilities

• Assist care manager with rising patient care needs.
• Provides excellent personal care to patients to maximize satisfaction according to Aide Plan of Care.
• Maintains safe environment and demonstrates initiative toward safety and risk management.
• Ensures continuity of care across shifts and participates in discharge planning.
• Collaborates with medical team and support staff to deliver quality care.
• Documents information on patient records, hospital forms and logs per hospital standard.
