Job summary

Adventist HealthCare Home Assistance seeks an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant for our Home Care Division in Rockville. The Home Assistance CNA will provide personal care, follow the Plan of Care, and maintain safe home environments while coordinating with coordination staff.

Responsibilities include scheduling communication, ongoing education of staff, and collaboration with RN and office teams to meet client goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Active Maryland CNA license required.
• BLS certification required; First Aid certification required.
• 1+ year experience preferred but not required.
• CNA Skills Assessment test score 80%+ and pass skills lab.

Responsibilities

• Keeps Client Service Coordinators informed of schedule availability.
• Provides excellent personal care to clients per Plan of Care.
• Maintains safe home environment and follows RN instructions.
• Provides timely, high-quality services per client needs.
• Attends mandatory staff meetings and completes online in-services.
• Consults with clinical/office staff on client issues and goals.
