Job summary

American Senior Communities is seeking a Central Billing Office Biller to manage data entry for accounts receivable, process bank deposits and reconcile cash, and follow up on co-insurance claims. The role supports Anew Hospice/Home Health lines of business and requires familiarity with UB04 and Medicare/Medicaid billing guidelines.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree or equivalent with related experience and will join a team dedicated to accurate billing, timely submissions, and

Qualifications

• Experience with hospice, home health, and palliative billing.
• Must have knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations including billing guidelines.
• Familiarity with UB04 and insurance billing guidelines.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and write business correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Posts third-party payments on accounts.
• Performs data entry for accounts receivable and reconciles cash and census.
• Submits co-insurance claims to insurance companies, electronically or on paper.
• Reviews aging and follows up on outstanding co-insurance claims.
• Validates claims are set to pay and ensures payer name override where needed.
• Completes month-end processing and billing and handles special projects.
• Saves files to Shared Drive and demonstrates teamwork and reliability.
