Job summary

Capital Health seeks a dedicated nursing assistant to provide personal care to Assisted Living residents, assist with meals, and perform light housekeeping and laundry. The role supports resident safety and comfort in a 40-hour workweek.

Requires a High School Diploma or GED and a nursing assistant/home health certification; one year of experience is preferred. AED certification and a valid driver's license are recommended.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Nursing assistant or home health certification is required.
• One year of experience preferred.
• AHA Heartsaver AED and Driver's License are required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care to Assisted Living residents.
• Assists with meals including light meal preparation or warming.
• Performs light housekeeping and laundry tasks.
• Takes weights and vital signs and reports changes to nurse.
• Maintains safety and dignity of residents and supports independence.
