Job summary

Capital Health is seeking staff for Assisted Living resident care. This role provides personal care, helps with meals, laundry, and light housekeeping. Requires a high school diploma or GED, with a nursing assistant or home health certification preferred.

Experience in care is favored; AHA Heartsaver AED and a valid driver's license are required. The position supports patient well-being and safety in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; nursing assistant or home health certification preferred.
• One year of experience in care preferred.
• AHA Heartsaver AED and driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional relationships with residents and staff; protect privacy and dignity.
• Take weights and vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) monthly or as directed.
• Provide morning and evening personal care, including bathing and oral hygiene.
• Assist with meals, laundry, and light housekeeping; maintain cleanliness of apartments and facilities.
• Respond to emergencies and report changes to nursing staff promptly.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and daily activities; support independence where possible.
