Human Touch Home Health is seeking compassionate and dependable Home Health Aides (HHAs) for PRN opportunities in Blacksburg, Christiansburg, Radford, and surrounding New River Valley communities.

Qualifications

• CPR/BLS certification preferred and required training for the role.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary.
• Experience in home health or personal care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care.
• Help with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Perform light housekeeping related to patient care.
• Follow the established plan of care and observe changes in condition.
• Complete required documentation and ensure patient safety at home.

What You'll Do

• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care
• Help with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Perform light housekeeping related to patient care
• Follow the established plan of care
• Observe and report changes in patient condition
• Complete required documentation
• Help patients remain safe and comfortable at home

Qualifications

• Home Health Aide (HHA) training or certification as required
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
• Dependable and committed to scheduled patient assignments
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently in patients' homes
• Previous home health or personal care experience preferred
