Human Touch Home Health is seeking compassionate and dependable Home Health Aides (HHAs) for weekend PRN assignments throughout Washington, DC.

As a caregiver, you will assist with personal care, mobility, meal support, companionship, and home safety, following an established plan of care. Weekend hours and flexibility make it ideal for those seeking extra shifts and steady weekend opportunities.

Qualifications

• DC requirements for Home Health Aide training/certification.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Reliable transportation to patient assignments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Weekend availability is required.
• Ability to work independently in patients' homes.
• Previous home health or personal care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care
• Help with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
• Assist with toileting and activities of daily living
• Prepare light meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Perform light housekeeping related to patient care
• Follow the established plan of care
• Observe and report changes in patient condition; complete required documentation
• Help patients remain safe and comfortable at home

What You’ll Do
