Job summary

Visiting Angels Temple is seeking a Home Health Aide - HHA to provide non-medical in-home care, companionship, safety supervision and personal care in Temple and surrounding areas. Flexible scheduling includes 1–12 hour shifts across days and nights, with a minimum of 20 hours per week and opportunities to pick up additional clients.

Candidates must have at least 1 year of caregiving experience, reliable transportation, and be able to work weekends.

Qualifications

• A great attitude, helpful and ready for anything.
• Must have over 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience with the elderly.
• MUST be able to work weekends.
• Be over 18 years old, reliable transportation, valid Driver's License with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Hygiene and grooming assistance (bathing, dressing, incontinence care, etc.)
• Medication reminders
• Monitoring/safety supervision
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Laundry, errands and shopping
• Ambulation/mobility assistance, including lifting 50lbs and above

Home Health Aide - HHA

Visiting Angels Temple is a leading non-medical, private duty home care agency providing companionship, safety supervision and personal care to help adults continue to live safely with dignity and independently in their homes.

We are looking for a Home Health Aide - HHA who has availability on weekdays AND weekends. Home Health Aide - HHA shifts can be any length of time between 1 hour to 12 hours- day OR night! We coordinate with your availability and our clients' needs to build your perfect schedule! Our goal is to schedule you for a MINIMUM of 20 hours/week, which means you can pick up AS MANY clients as you'd like!!! Our clients reside in Temple and surrounding areas (Copperas Cove, Killeen, Lampasas, Belton, Cameron, Rockdale, and MORE) therefore, a Home Health Aide - HHA MUST have reliable transportation of your own that you will drive to and from each client and be willing to travel outside of Temple. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply!

• High integrity and strong ethics
• MUST have over 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience with the elderly
• MUST be able to work weekends
• Be over 18 years old
• Successful completion of a Criminal History check

• Reliable transportation of your own that you will be driving
• Valid Driver's License/clean driving record/proof of insurance
