Job summary

Visiting Angels Temple is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to provide non-medical home care, companionship, safety supervision, and personal care. The role supports adults in their homes in Temple and surrounding areas with a minimum of 20 hours per week and requires reliable transportation for travel between clients.

Weekend availability is required; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Expect flexible schedules, weekly pay with direct deposit, employee recognition, 24-hour office

Qualifications

• Must have over 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience with the elderly
• Must be able to work weekends
• Be over 18 years old
• Successful completion of a Criminal History check
• Professional references
• Reliable transportation of your own that you will be driving
• Valid Driver's License/clean driving record/proof of insurance

Responsibilities

• Hygiene and grooming assistance (bathing, dressing, incontinence care, etc.)
• Medication reminders
• Monitoring/safety supervision
• Meal preparation

• Laundry, errands and shopping

Senior Care Assistant

Visiting Angels Temple is a leading non-medical, private duty home care agency providing companionship, safety supervision and personal care to help adults continue to live safely with dignity and independently in their homes.

We are looking for a Senior Care Assistant who has availability on weekdays AND weekends. Senior Care Assistant shifts can be any length of time between 1 hour to 12 hours- day OR night! We coordinate with your availability and our clients' needs to build your perfect schedule! Our goal is to schedule you for a MINIMUM of 20 hours/week, which means you can pick up AS MANY clients as you'd like!!! Our clients reside in Temple and surrounding areas (Copperas Cove, Killeen, Lampasas, Belton, Cameron, Rockdale, and MORE) therefore, a Senior Care Assistant MUST have reliable transportation of your own that you will drive to and from each client and be willing to travel outside of Temple. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply!
