Job summary

CareBuilders at Home is seeking empathetic caregivers to provide personal assistance, companionship, and light housekeeping for clients at home. You will support daily living activities and promote independence with compassionate care.

We welcome applicants with at least 1 year in home care, strong communication, and reliability. A valid driver’s license may be required for certain assignments, and training and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of home care or nursing support experience.
• Empathetic and patient with strong communication.
• Ability to follow care plans and maintain client dignity.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Physical ability to assist with mobility and light tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene and dressing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Help with light housekeeping like meal prep and laundry.
• Accompany clients to appointments and social activities.
• Monitor changes in health or behavior and report them.

Responsibilities of a Caregiver:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, and tidying up.


• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social outings.


• Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior. Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients.

Skills and Qualifications of a Caregiver:

• At least 1 year of experience in home care/nursing.


• Compassionate and empathetic attitude.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to follow care plans and instructions.


• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.


• Physical ability to assist with mobility and perform light household tasks. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if required)


• Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.
