Interim HealthCare of Mercer County in New Jersey is hiring a Home Health Aide (HHA) to support seniors at home in Middlesex County. This role offers 1:1 client ratios, flexible scheduling, and the chance to build skills through online training and CEUs while contributing to compassionate, client-centered care.

Must have a high school diploma (or equivalent) with active HHA registration in New Jersey, CPR, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• CPR certification required.
• TB, MMR and HepB vaccination information.

Responsabilidades

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns.
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.

As a Home Health Aide, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home

A few must-haves for Home Health Aides:

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and active Home Health Aide (HHA) registration in New Jersey
• Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role, preferred
• CPR certification
• TB, MMR and HepB Vaccination information
• Valid New Jersey driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
