Interim HealthCare of Mercer County in Burlington County is seeking Home Health Aides (HHAs) to join a team supported by an experienced RN, with flexible opportunities and a caring, client-centered culture.

As an HHA, you will provide personal care, assist with daily living activities, support mobility, remind about medications, and contribute to a safe home environment while pursuing ongoing training and education opportunities.

Qualificações

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and active Home Health Aide (HHA) registration in New Jersey.
• Six months of experience in a healthcare role, preferred.
• CPR certification.
• TB, MMR and HepB vaccination information.
• Valid New Jersey driver’s license, auto insurance, and transportation.
• Compassionate, good communicator with ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal prep, shopping, transportation, and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders and document condition for supervisor awareness.
• Ensure a safe home environment with clear pathways.
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy like puzzles, games, and reading.

As a Home Health Aide, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship

• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies

A few must-haves for Home Health Aides:

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and active Home Health Aide (HHA) registration in New Jersey
• Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role, preferred
• CPR certification
• TB, MMR and HepB Vaccination information
• Valid New Jersey driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
