Alliance Homecare VNA in Massachusetts seeks compassionate Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide personal care and daily living support in clients’ homes within North Andover, Lawrence, Methuen, and Lowell. The role offers flexible part- and full-time schedules with a focus on respectful, client-centered care.

Shifts are typically 2–6 hours with no overnight work; part-time requires ~20 hours/week and full-time ~32–40 hours/week, with weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak and understand basic English.
• Must be able to read and write English sufficiently to follow plans.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation as appropriate.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with meal preparation and basic household tasks related to care.
• Follow individual care plans and instructions from the healthcare team.
• Observe and report changes in the client’s condition, behavior, or needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Communicate professionally with clients, families, caregivers, and team members.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
• Respect client privacy, dignity, preferences, and confidentiality.
• Follow Alliance Homecare VNA policies, safety procedures, and standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must have the ability to speak and understand basic English and manage basic workplace conversations.
• Must be able to read and write English sufficiently to understand and follow client care plans.
• Must have a valid Massachusetts driver's license and reliable personal vehicle to travel between client assignments.
• Must be comfortable with client assignments typically ranging from 2-6 hours, depending on client needs and scheduling.
• No overnight shifts and no extended long-hour shifts.
• Part-time: Minimum commitment of 20 hours per week.
• Full-time: Availability of approximately 32-40 hours per week.
• Must be willing to work weekends as required.
• Flexible, dependable, and able to adapt to changing client schedules and care needs.
• Positive and professional attitude with a genuine commitment to providing respectful client care.

Compensation & Benefits

$21-$23 per hour
