Job summary

Alliance Homecare VNA in Massachusetts is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide in-home care, assist with daily living activities, and support patient comfort, safety, dignity, and independence. The CNA will assist with activities of daily living, mobility, companionship, meal preparation, and adherence to care plans while maintaining patient privacy and safety.

Travel to assigned patient locations within the service area is required.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts CNA certification required.
• Previous home care or caregiving experience preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification, if required.
• Ability to travel to patient locations within the service area.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation as appropriate.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
• Assist with meal preparation and basic household tasks related to the patient's care.
• Follow the patient's established care plan and instructions from the healthcare team.
• Observe and report changes in the patient's condition, behavior, or care needs.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for the patient.
• Communicate professionally with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
• Protect patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Follow Alliance Homecare VNA policies and safety procedures.

Compensation & Benefits

$21–$23 per hour

North Andover, Lawrence, Methuen, and Lowell, Massachusetts

This is a home care/field-based position. CNAs may be assigned to patients within the service areas listed above. Specific patient assignments, schedules, and locations will be discussed during the hiring process.
