Job summary

Arista Home Care is hiring a Home Health Aide to join our compassionate team in the Bowling Green and Sylvania areas. You will assist with personal care, prepare meals, and support daily living activities in patients' homes.

Qualifications

• Current STNA, CNA, or qualifying home health aide certification.
• Current CPR certification and valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and other personal care needs.
• Prepare meals and assist with grocery shopping.
• Perform light housekeeping including laundry and vacuuming.
• Provide medication reminders as directed by the nurse.
• Reinforce self-care skills identified in the care plan.
• Observe and report changes in the patient’s condition promptly.
• Provide dependable, respectful, person-centered care.
• Complete required visit documentation accurately and on time.

Home Health Aide Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and other personal care needs
• Prepare meals and assist with grocery shopping
• Perform light housekeeping, including laundry and vacuuming
• Provide medication reminders as directed by the nurse and plan of care
• Reinforce self-care skills identified in the patient’s plan of care
• Observe and promptly report changes in the patient’s condition
• Provide dependable, respectful, person-centered care
• Complete required visit documentation accurately and on time

Home Health Aide Qualifications

• Current STNA, CNA, or qualifying home health aide certification
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
• One year of home care experience preferred
• Strong communication and patient-service skills
• Ability to successfully complete required background checks and pre‑employment screenings

Home Health Aide Compensation

• $14.50–$16.00 per hour, based on qualifications and certifications
• Paid travel time between patient visits
• Mileage reimbursement when using your personal vehicle for work-related travel
• Eligible for a $0.50-per-hour increase following the 60-day evaluation and completion of all required training
