Job summary

Amivie, LLC is seeking a part-time Home Health Aide for Fosterbridge in Marietta, Ohio. No prior experience is required; free training helps you earn your Home Health Aide certification. Join our team delivering compassionate in-home care to clients across Northeast Ohio.

This role offers flexible Sat/Sun shifts at $15 per hour, weekly pay, PTO, benefits, and referral bonuses. You will follow a care plan, assist with personal care, meals, light housekeeping, and ensure safety and infection

Qualifications

• STNA/CNA certification or 1 year of supervised, verifiable experience within the last 3 years.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and follow a written Plan of Care.
• Current driver’s license or reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care as needed under RN supervision.
• Follow a care plan and report changes in client condition to the RN.
• Meal preparation/feeding and light housekeeping.
• Handle laundry and infection control practices per policy.
• Document care provided and complete client records.
• Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and respectful care.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care as needed
• A successful Home Health-care Aide provides personal care services under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse
• Ability to follow a care plan
• Meal preparation/feeding
• Laundry
• Light Housekeeping
• Knows and follows infection control policies including proper hand washing techniques.
• Reports any observed or reported changes in the client’s condition and/or needs to the Registered Nurse.
• Documents care provided and completes the forms required for the client’s records. Completes the appropriate records to document cares given and pertinent observations.
• Promotes personal safety and a safe environment for clients by observing infection control practices, following agency guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations to the Supervisor/Case Manager.
• Demonstrates safe practice in the use of equipment. Does not use equipment until orientation has been provided. Notifies supervisor of educational needs.
• Communicates effectively with all members of the interdisciplinary team through verbal reports, participation in staff meetings, and team conferences, as requested.
• Treats patients and families with respect. Maintains confidentiality in all aspects of the job.
• Accepts and fulfills assignments with the agency. Exercise good judgment in accepting assignments.
• Participates in required in-service programs to meet compliance requirements. Identifies learning needs to agency supervisor.
• Performs other related duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary

Qualifications

• Meet the training and/or certification requirements of the state in which the home health aide services are being provided. This includes specifications of contracted agencies for which services are being provided.
• Active and verifiable State Tested Nursing Assistant(STNA) or Certified Nursing Assistant CNA certification in applicablestate OR 1 year of supervised, verifiable experience within the last 3 years.
• Be at lease eighteen (18) years of age.
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and follow a written Plan of Care.
• Good interpersonal skills and a passion for caring for those in need.
• Current driver’s license, good driving record, and/or reliable transportation is required.
• 1 + years of experience is highly preferred.

• Frequent standing walking, stopping/bending infrequent squatting/kneeling and balancing
• Weight handled: push, force required: 30 - 50 lbs (at times)
