Job summary

Arista Home Care Solutions is seeking a Home Health Aide to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in the Bowling Green and Sylvania areas. This full-time role offers consistent shifts, travel between patient visits, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients’ daily lives.

The ideal candidate holds a STNA/CNA or equivalent certification, CPR certification, a valid driver's license with insurance, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• Current STNA, CNA, or qualifying home health aide certification.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• One year of home care experience preferred.
• Strong communication and patient-service skills.
• Ability to successfully complete required background checks and pre‑employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and other personal care needs
• Prepare meals and assist with grocery shopping
• Perform light housekeeping, including laundry and vacuuming
• Provide medication reminders as directed by the nurse and plan of care
• Reinforce self-care skills identified in the patient’s plan of care
• Observe and promptly report changes in the patient’s condition
• Provide dependable, respectful, person-centered care
• Complete required visit documentation accurately and on time

Home Health Aide Responsibilities

Home Health Aide Compensation

• $14.50–$16.00 per hour, based on qualifications and certifications
• Paid travel time between patient visits
• Mileage reimbursement when using your personal vehicle for work-related travel
• Eligible for a $0.50-per-hour increase following the 60-day evaluation and completion of all required training
