Job summary

PurposeCare is seeking qualified Home Health Aides to support clients in New Lexington, Ohio and surrounding counties. You will provide personal care and companionship, helping with bathing, grooming, meal preparation, and light housekeeping to ensure clients live safely at home.

We value dependable, compassionate caregivers with prior home health or nursing facility experience, ability to pass background checks, and the physical stamina to lift up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• Experience with a Home Health Agency or nursing facility within the past year.
• Minimum of 1 full year of recent experience.
• Pass a criminal background check.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Complete written competency evaluation.
• Complete skills assessment.
• Able to lift 25 lbs independently.
• Empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail and impaired.
• Demonstrate patience and good personal hygiene.
• Comfortable with personal care, grooming, meal prep, and light housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care including baths, oral hygiene, grooming, and toileting.
• Helping with changing bed linens, dressing, and maintaining clean living area.
• Doing laundry, cleaning and meal preparations.
• Assisting with light housekeeping and ensuring patient safety.

Looking for Home Health Aide's for the New Lexington, Ohio area and surrounding counties.

Purpose Care is looking for qualified, dependable, honest, reliable, Home Health Aides, STNA's, PCAs and CNA Caregivers to care for the needs of our clients.

Position Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Providing personal care to include:
a. Baths, Showers, Bed Baths, Sponge Baths
b. Oral hygiene
c. Shampoos
d. Changing bed linens
e. Assisting patients with dressing/undressing and grooming
f. Assisting the patient with toileting activities
g. Keeping patient’s living area clean and orderly

1. Doing patient’s laundry, cleaning and meal preparations

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Worked with a Home Health Agency or nursing Facility within the past year
• Minimum of 1 full year of recent experience
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Candidates must complete a written Competency evaluation.
• Must complete a skills assessment.
• Able to independently lift 25lbs.
• Empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail and impaired.
• Demonstrate patience, and good personal hygiene
• Must be comfortable performing personal care and grooming, meal prep, and light housekeeping.
