Job summary

PurposeCare is looking for qualified, dependable, honest, and reliable Home Health Aides, STNA's, PCAs and CNA Caregivers to care for clients in the Columbus, Ohio area. Join a growing company that values compassionate care and community support.

Positions involve providing personal care, light housekeeping, and meal preparation. Minimum 1 year of relevant experience and the ability to pass background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Worked with a Home Health Agency or nursing Facility within the past year.
• Minimum of 1 full year of recent experience.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Candidates must complete a written Competency evaluation.
• Must complete a skills assessment.
• Able to independently lift 25lbs.
• Empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail and impaired.
• Demonstrate patience, and good personal hygiene.
• Must be comfortable performing personal care and grooming, meal prep, and light housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care to include: Baths, Showers, Bed Baths, Sponge Baths.
• Oral hygiene
• Shampoos
• Changing bed linens
• Assisting patients with dressing/undressing and grooming
• Assisting the patient with toileting activities
• Keeping patient’s living area clean and orderly
• Doing patient’s laundry, cleaning and meal preparations
