Job summary

Purpose Care seeks Home Health Aides to serve Athens, Ohio and surrounding counties, delivering compassionate in-home care. Caregivers assist with daily living activities, personal care, and light housekeeping to help clients maintain independence in their own homes.

The role emphasizes empathy, reliability and honest, dependable care. Competitive pay and flexible scheduling are provided as the company grows its home health division in the Midwest.

Qualifications

• Worked with a Home Health Agency or nursing Facility within the past year.
• Minimum of 1 full year of recent experience.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Candidates must complete a written Competency evaluation.
• Must complete a skills assessment.
• Able to independently lift 25lbs.
• Empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail and impaired.
• Demonstrate patience, and good personal hygiene.
• Must be comfortable performing personal care and grooming, meal prep, and light housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including baths, showers, oral hygiene, shampoos, dressing assistance and grooming.
• Assist patients with toileting, laundry, light cleaning and meal preparations.

Looking for Home Health Aide's for the Athens, Ohio area and surrounding counties.

Purpose Care is looking for qualified, dependable, honest, reliable, Home Health Aides, STNA's, PCAs and CNA Caregivers to care for the needs of our clients.

Position Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Providing personal care to include:
a. Baths, Showers, Bed Baths, Sponge Baths
b. Oral hygiene
c. Shampoos
d. Changing bed linens
e. Assisting patients with dressing/undressing and grooming
f. Assisting the patient with toileting activities
g. Keeping patient’s living area clean and orderly

1. Doing patient’s laundry, cleaning and meal preparations
