Right at Home Columbus is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides to provide essential in-home care for seniors and adults with disabilities in Franklin County, Ohio. We offer flexible shifts, weekly pay, paid training, caregiver recognition programs, and opportunities to grow with a leading international home care company with 25+ years of experience.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must lift/move 50 lbs without assistance.
• Pass a background check.
• STNA, CNA, Home Health Aide certification preferred.

Mansioni

• Provide personal care activities for activities of daily living.
• Assist with transferring client safely and perform light housekeeping.
• Prepare meals and snacks per instructions; accompany to appointments.
• Administer medication reminders and assist with ROM exercises.
• Provide dementia care and offer companionship through reading, music, or puzzles.

Shifts

• Available shifts from 8AM to 10PM
• 2 to 4 hour shifts available that can provide schedule flexibility around your personal needs

Responsibilities and Duties

In this role, you will have the chance to perform personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living, which include (but are not limited to):

• Assisting with transferring/moving client from place to place throughout their home
• Performing housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning the bathroom
• Preparing meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompanying client on errands or medical appointments
• Bathing/Showering/Dressing/Shaving
• Medication reminders
• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
• Dementia care
• Companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, etc.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
• Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
• Possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
• Pass a background check
• STNA, CNA license, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide certification preferred
