Job summary

ExpertCare in Michigan is hiring a Personal Care Assistant to provide one-on-one in-home support to residents, helping with daily activities and skill-building.

Work in clients' homes across Southeast Michigan with a flexible schedule; full and part-time positions available. You will help clients maintain independence, improve well-being, and participate in community activities.

Ideal candidates are compassionate, reliable, with good communication and transportation.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient and dependable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities.
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments.
• Ability to pass required background checks and screenings.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 in-home support to recipients.
• Encourage and assist with skill-building activities.
• Facilitate community outings to support goals.
